Meagan Good was born Panorama City, Los Angeles in the 8th of August, 1981. Her mother Tyra Wardlow Doyle worked as her manager at the time she was in her teens. Her family consisted of three brothers at home in Canyon Country in California and began her acting career at her age of 4. Her acting career began as a television extra in earlier years. When she was 13 in 1995, she got her first role in the debut film Friday. In 1997, she first was recognized for her performance in Eve's Bayou as Cisely Batiste an unruly teenager. The film earned her the first N.A.A.C.P. nomination for this film. Image Award nominee. Good started with minor parts in television and film for a few years after which she moved on to more mature roles at the start of the 2000s. On Nickelodeon's Cousin Sceeter she appeared as Nina. From 1998 to 2001, she starred as Nina on the Nickelodeon television show Cousinskelter. She also had tiny roles in the films House Party to the Last Minute (1998) as well as 3 Strikes (2000). She starred in 2003 as Vanessa Scott in My Wife and Kids. She received nominations for Best Actress for the Black Movie Awards in 2005 following her role in D.E.B.S (2004), an action-comedy movie. Then, she was featured in several movies, such as You GotServed The Cookout Venom one missed call the waist deep as well as The Love Guru. While on both T.V. and in films she was the lead character Mya in the film series with multiple stars Think Like a Man and Ms. Stevens in Dysfunctional Friends. Killmer was born in Texas and attended Baylor University, Waco Texas. She earned a degree in the performing arts. The degree in performing arts was awarded in 2010. Her on-screen debut was in 2010, with the web-based series"If you Can Dream. Kara Killmer, who had performed in several local productions prior her screen debut in the year 2010, starred as a character on Simon Fuller's Hulu series If I Can Dream. The reality series revolved around an ensemble of artists living in a home in Hollywood California.
