Ashley Madekwe and Ashley Leggat

Madekwe was raised by a mixed ethnic family. Her mother and father were both English. She was born in the South London Council Estate, and then attended The Brit School aged 14. She graduated with a BA in acting from The Royal Academy of Dramatic Art. She performed in various stage productions during her time at school, including the stage productions King Henry V and Wuthering Heights.
Madekwe's acting career started with Storm Damage. In the years since, she's had appearances in guest roles for Teachers, Doctors Casualty Drop Dead Gorgeous. Madekwe's first film role was in Woody Allen's 2007 film Cassandra's Dream opposite Colin Farrell, Ewan McGregor. Then, she appeared in Elisha, a BBC Three pilot drama, in West 10 LDN. In addition, she appeared as Ollie in six episodes each of Trexx, Flipside, and Flipside. She played Bambi as Bambi in the ITV2 show Secret Diary of a Call Girl. Madekwe was a part of the 2008 comedy film How to Lose Friends & Get People to Leave. Her stage credits include Little Sweet Thing or Roy Williams as well as Flight Path of David Watson.
Madekwe was a part of Ashley Davenport on the ABC drama The Beautiful Life. The two-episode show aired only for the duration of two weeks The CW and then it was cancelled. Ashley Davenport was her role in the ABC drama Revenge. Madekwe starred as a regular character on the drama series of Revenge on ABC for two seasons. The show was announced in May 2013 that she'd be leaving the series following an appearance in the initial episode of season three. She starred as Tituba on the show Salem from 2014 until 2016. Madekwe and her partner of many years, Iddo Goldenberg, were wed in June of 2012. They have worked together in the show Secret Diary of a Call Girl and also had a role alongside her on the show Salem.

Ashley Leggat, an actress that was nominated two times for a Gemini Award, comes from an extensive Hamilton family. Ashley Leggat was a part of Roy and Patty as well her older siblings, Brett, Todd and Bram as well as Rob. Ashley's four brothers, all very athletic, played hockey in the winter months and played baseball in the summer, so they grew up mostly in arenas and baseball parks. Ashley did not have the ability to actually walk. She danced. So when she was 2 and a 1/2 when she was a little older, she joined Baby Ballet. This was the beginning of Ashley's passion for dance. Ashley continued to dance competitively through high school graduation, in top divisions such as ballet, tap, Jazz Pointe, Acrobatics, Pointe Musical Theatre, Lyrical Hip Hop, and much more. The top soloist at big competitions, such as International Dance Challenge, Showstoppers, 56-7-8 Showtime, Flash Dance, Dance, Dance, Dance, were all awarded to Ashley.
