Charissa Thompson

Thompson quit FOX Sports in 2009 and started hosting in Versus Sports as well as Yahoo Sports. She anchored Versus' NHL studio coverage and also recorded web-based video for the highly-visited Yahoo platform. She also managed the site's presence at high-profile events such as those of the 2010 Winter Olympics, FIFA World Cup, Super Bowl XLV as well as the BCS National Championship. Its success at these events led her to be tapped by ESPN as one of its hosts for the new evening show called "Numbers Never Lie," on August 11, 2011. The show was a part of"SportsNation," the "SportsNation" organization in July 2012. It was extremely popular, which she continued to host until the end of May 2013 in which time she returned in Los Angeles to launch FS1. Thompson who is a keen sports fan by nature, has proven her abilities in transitioning to the world of entertainment television. Following a string of occasions as a part-time host and promotions, she was appointed a permanent co-host for the evening edition of Hollywood newspaper "Extra," in June 2014. In her role the magazine filmed its shows at Universal Studios while also staffing awards shows and other celebrity events on a regular basis. Charissa Charissa Charissa
