Anita Ekberg
Anita Ekberg was a Swedish actor, and appeared in various European and American films. She is mostly known for her part in the comedy drama film "La Dolce Vita". The film was both a critical and commercial hit, as well being awarded an Oscar at the Cannes Film Festival 1960. Her birthplace was Skane and began her career as a model before embarking on her acting career. Then she won the Miss Sweden contest. After moving to the US she began acting in a variety of films, performing small roles. Her first credit role was in the movie "Abbott and Co. Go to Mars in which she was an Venusian guard. After her role in 'Blood alley her film, she took home the Golden Globe Award for 'Most promising young actor.' In the course of her career, she was a part of several other films like the film 'War and Peace', which is an American-Italian war movie 'War and Peace', as well as the Western production 'Valerie' the British adventure crime film 'The Man Within", as well as the French-Italian thriller 'The Dam in the Yellow River'. Her death occurred in the year 2015 when she was 83 years old.
