
Jennifer Grey (born March 26 1959) is an American actress from the US. Her first appearance on stage was in Reckless (1984) However, she made her biggest break with Ferris Bueller's Day Off (1986). She gained international fame for starring as Frances Houseman in the romantic drama film Dirty Dancing (1987), which brought her an Golden Globe Award nomination. Other feature films she has appeared in include Red Dawn (1984), The Cotton Club (1984), Bloodhounds of Broadway (1989) Bounce (2000), Redbelt (2008), The Wind Rises (2013), In Your Eyes (2014), Duck Duck Goose (2018), and Bittersweet Symphony (2019). Grey's television appearances started with Murder in Mississippi (1990), Criminal Justice (1989), and If the Shoe Fits (2019). She also starred as Kelly Carter in the comedy Red Oaks on Amazon Prime Video. Grey has also worked as a voice actor in films and television, appearing in the 2018 film Duck Duck Goose and the animated television show Phineas and Ferb in 2008.
